» wvu, you're too good to me & reading updates
Another nice article from my beloved alma mater. Thanks to Rebecca Thomas and all the beautiful people in Colson Hall. The article mentions that I’ll be reading at WVU on January 18 (7:30 pm in Colson Hall) along with WVU-MFA alum Katie Fallon, whose new nonfiction book, Cerulean Blues, looks gorgeous. I can’t wait to read the book and meet Katie!
Speaking of readings, I’ve got a lot happening this fall — from Athens to Massachusetts and then Kentucky. Suitcases to pack!
Here’s a list:
10/20/2011 — the brand new Avid Bookshop in Athens, Georgia (493 Prince Avenue) — 7:30 pm(lotsa firsts: this will be Gloss’s official local book release party — yippee! — and the inaugural reading for the Avid Reading Series)
10/26/2011 — Holyoke Community College in Northampton, Massachusetts — 11:00am(a mini-reading, opening for Diane Gilliam Fisher)
10/26/2011 — Forbes Library in Northampton, Massachusetts (20 West Street) — 7pm(Perugia Press’s 15th anniversary celebration and book release event for Gloss, with Diane Gilliam Fisher)
11/11/11 — Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, KY — 12:00 pm
